Indonesia’s national airline Garuda Indonesia was voted ‘2012 Domestic Airline of the Year’ in a customer satisfaction survey conducted by Roy Morgan, an Australian-based independent international research institute.
The award was based on a survey conducted among 28,000 consumers in Indonesia who evaluated products and services they used or consumed in the past year.
“Our turnaround over the past few years has played an integral part and forms the foundation for our continuous improvements in service, training and overall quality. This award endorses our ongoing efforts to transform the airline and to deliver the highest standards of service to our passengers both on the ground and in the air,” said Nicodemus Lampe, Vice President, Area Asia of Garuda Indonesia.
The airline was voted ‘Best International Airline’ by Australians last year in a survey also conducted by Roy Morgan, and recently topped the category of best long-haul airline food at the inaugural Skyscanner Asia Pacific Airline Food Awards.
